Anand hails from Chennai and he is a passionate South Indian foodies and an avid traveller exploring the culture and heritage of India. Inspired by his grandmother’s recipes he started Sweet Karam Coffee in 2015, a South Indian food brand on a mission to take the taste and tales of South India to the world. The brand aims to offer authentic homestyle recipes with clean ingredients and innovative packaging. Sweet Karam Coffee recently got featured in the list of Forbes Asia 100 startups to watch 2025. Anand earlier worked with Unilever for 12yrs and his diverse experience in the FMCG sector helped him to builld SKC as one of the pioneers in globalising our traditional food from South India. He is a proud alumini of the College of Engineering Guindy campus and he also holds a masters in retail management.
