Amit is currently serving as Vice President – Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain at Pravin Masalewale – Suhana. With 17 years of extensive experience in the food industry, Amit has made remarkable contributions to some of the most renowned brands in the sector.
In the early stages of his career, Amit played a key role in propelling Pillsbury Atta to the second position in the branded atta category, while also driving innovative launches such as Multigrain Atta and Cooker Cake. At ITC, he led the company’s foray into the chocolate category by launching Fabelle, India’s first luxury chocolate brand, which gained international acclaim and secured multiple accolades, including a Guinness World Record for the world’s most expensive chocolate in 2018. He also introduced Fantastik, a mass-market chocolate brand, further strengthening ITC’s footprint in the segment.
During his tenure at Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL), Amit accelerated the growth of Tata Sampann, transforming it into a leading staples brand in India. Additionally, he oversaw category development for Tata Tea, managing iconic brands such as Tata Tea Premium and Tata Agni. Most recently, at Dabur, Amit successfully integrated and expanded the company’s food portfolio, including brands like Hommade and Badshah Spices.
Amit’s strategic vision and executional expertise have consistently driven growth and innovation across multiple product categories in the Indian food industry.
