A distinguished graduate of Kohinoor IMI School of Hotel Management, he began his career with the Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Group of Hotels), where he rose from a Management Trainee to head the All-Day Dining Kitchen at the group’s flagship property.

His culinary expertise has graced State Dinners hosted for the Hon’ble Prime Minister, President of India, and over 27 global Heads of State, elevating India’s gastronomic presence on the world stage.
A passionate mentor and competitor, Chef Sanil has trained to represent India at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi, guided the national team for WorldSkills India, and served as a jury member at Maharashtra Skills, inspiring the next generation of culinary talent.

Today, as the Founder and CEO of Sage Café | Pantry, Mumbai, he brings his decade of experience from world-class kitchens to create a space that celebrates food, culture, and community.
