Neeraj Menta is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of SuperK, a tech-enabled grocery retail company focused on bringing modern retail to India’s Tier-2, Tier-3 and smaller towns. Founded in 2019 with Anil Thontepu, SuperK combines technology, procurement, supply-chain capabilities and a franchise-led model to empower local entrepreneurs to operate modern supermarkets.
A second-time entrepreneur, Neeraj brings a strong technology and product background to the business. Before SuperK, he co-founded HungerBox, a technology platform for corporate food services, and worked in software and product roles at Flipkart and Zeta (Directi). He is also an alumnus of BITS Pilani, where he studied Computer Science and met co-founder Anil Thontepu.
At SuperK, Neeraj has been closely involved in building a scalable retail model for Bharat, using data and technology to address the structural challenges of traditional grocery retail. The company works with local entrepreneurs and kirana operators, providing procurement, technology, intelligence and marketing support to create a consistent modern-store experience.
Under Neeraj’s leadership, SuperK has grown from its first store in Anantapur into a rapidly expanding supermarket network across smaller towns. His experience across technology, product management and entrepreneurship continues to shape SuperK’s approach to building a scalable, asset-light retail ecosystem for the next generation of Indian consumers.
