Anil Chugh leads the company’s expansion in the food and emerging-category businesses and has been heading the Food Business since 2022 at Wipro.
A veteran of the consumer goods industry, Chugh joined Wipro Consumer Care in 1990 and has spent more than three decades across sales, marketing and business leadership roles. He rose through the organisation from a Management Trainee to leadership positions including head of the India Personal Care business and later President – Consumer Care, India & SAARC.
Under his leadership, Wipro has built its food portfolio through acquisitions including Nirapara and Brahmins, strengthening its presence in spices, breakfast and ready-to-cook categories. He has also overseen the establishment of a Foods Research & Innovation Centre in Bengaluru.
In 2025, Wipro said its food business had delivered double-digit growth in FY25, with the company focusing on expanding Nirapara and Brahmins across modern trade, e-commerce and quick commerce while remaining open to further acquisitions.
More recently, Chugh has been instrumental in Wipro’s move into pet nutrition, with the launch of Snuggles in August 2026—the company’s first new category move since entering foods in 2022.
Chugh holds an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, and an engineering degree
