Anurag Katriar is a veteran restaurateur and the Founder & Managing Director of Indigo Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., with more than three decades of experience in India’s food and hospitality industry. He is the entrepreneur behind a portfolio of established F&B brands including Indigo Delicatessen, Indigo Café, Indigo Burger Project and Neel.
Katriar began his hospitality career in the late 1990s and has held leadership roles across the restaurant industry. Before establishing Indigo Hospitality, he was associated with deGustibus Hospitality, where he served as Executive Director & CEO and played a key role in building and expanding brands such as Indigo, Indigo Deli, Neel, D:OH!, Tote on the Turf and Moveable Feast.
A prominent voice in India’s restaurant ecosystem, Katriar has also played an active role in industry advocacy through the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI). He served as NRAI President from 2019 to 2021 and continues to be associated with the organisation as a Trustee.
Over the years, Katriar has been recognised for his contribution to India’s evolving dining culture and for his views on restaurant entrepreneurship, consumer behaviour, profitability and the changing food-service landscape. He continues to be closely involved in the growth and evolution of Indigo Hospitality and the wider Indian F&B sector.
