Anand Baldawa brings a practical, well-rounded perspective to business, strategy and leadership with 28 years of experience across global finance and entrepreneurship. His career has allowed him to view businesses from several vantage points – as an auditor, financial adviser, investment banker, entrepreneur and operator. His experience spans mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, capital markets and IPOs, family-business transformation, manufacturing, exports, distribution, retail and digital commerce.
Anand spent the first 15 years of his career in auditing, transaction advisory and investment banking. He worked with Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Lehman Brothers and Robert W. Baird across the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. A rank-holder Chartered Accountant with an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, he developed a strong grounding in finance and an understanding of how businesses are evaluated, financed, acquired, restructured and prepared for their next stage of growth.
After returning to India, Anand joined the family business and has spent the past 13 years helping it evolve across manufacturing, exports, brand distribution and retail. As CEO of thinKitchen®, he has helped build a curated platform for premium kitchenware and home brands, serving customers through online marketplaces, modern trade, general trade, hospitality projects and direct-to-consumer channels, while also leading the group’s OEM, white-label and international brand partnerships.
