Chef Dev Kasalkar is the Managing Director of Chef’s Kitchen Institute of Culinary Arts & Hotel Management, Kolhapur, and a culinary educator, consultant and hospitality professional. With a career spanning culinary operations, education and hospitality consulting, he has built a strong reputation for developing young culinary talent and promoting Indian regional cuisine.
Chef Dev began his culinary career at the age of 19 and gained experience across the hotel and cruise-line industries, specialising in Continental and Italian cuisine. After more than a decade in professional kitchens, he turned his focus towards culinary education and founded Chef’s Kitchen Institute to provide aspiring hospitality professionals with industry-oriented training. He has trained more than 1,000 young chefs and is also associated with the Indian Young Chefs Association as Vice President.
