Chef Shantanu Gupte is the Founder of Chef Shan Cakes and Shiifu Kitchen, and a seasoned chef, food consultant, TV personality and entrepreneur with around 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry. A graduate of IHM Mumbai, he began his professional journey with the Taj Group before gaining international experience in the United Kingdom, including working at Maze London, the Michelin-starred restaurant led by Chef Gordon Ramsay.
Chef Shantanu has worked across culinary operations, food styling, menu development and consulting, and has been involved in creating menus for luxury hotels and restaurants in India and the UK. He is particularly known for combining local ingredients with contemporary culinary techniques and for his focus on food presentation and styling.
Beyond his culinary ventures, he has appeared on television shows including Health Mange More and India Unlimited. He also mentors aspiring professionals in areas such as culinary arts, food styling, photography, media and entrepreneurship.
