Born in Hamburg, Germany, a city known as the “door to the world” for its port and history of international trade, Daniel pursued higher education in Australia, earning a master’s degree from the University of Melbourne.
He began his professional journey with Infor, the third-largest ERP cloud software company under KOCH Industries, one of the largest privately held firms in the U.S., employing over 120,000 people globally. As Chief of Staff, Daniel gained valuable insights from Charles Koch’s Market Based Management philosophy.
A key learning that shapes his leadership today is a strong belief in people—a shift from top-down management to empowering individuals through bottom-up solutions, fostering inclusivity and unlocking potential.
