R Shankaran is an accomplished food-industry professional with over three decades of experience in food processing, cold-chain management, post-harvest technology, sustainable agriculture and international market development. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Frigoscan Post Harvest Technologies and has worked closely with organisations such as MoFPI, APEDA, NHM, NHB and ASSOCHAM.

His experience also includes developing global markets for processed foods, snack products and agricultural commodities across Asia-Pacific, Japan, the Gulf, Australia, Europe and North America.
