Ramakrishnan Lakshmanan is a second-generation entrepreneur and management professional with experience spanning food, consumer products, manufacturing and business operations. He is a Director at Mambalam Iyers, the traditional South Indian food brand that is part of the wider Clarion Group, where he is involved in strengthening the business and building its next phase of growth.
Under his leadership, Mambalam Iyers has been focused on strengthening manufacturing processes, quality systems and operational capabilities while expanding the reach of traditional South Indian foods. The brand, along with Clarion’s food portfolio, is increasingly positioned to serve both Indian consumers and global markets seeking authentic regional food products.
Lakshmanan also has experience across other businesses within the group and is associated with companies spanning packaging, cosmetics and food. He serves as a designated partner of Clarion Health Food LLP and has held directorships across several group companies.
He holds a B.Com from Loyola College and a PGDM from Welingkar Institute of Management, and has also pursued CA Final and Company Secretary studies.
