Rohan Pewekar is the Chief Executive Officer of Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group (GIHG), the Bharti Family Office-backed hospitality and dining platform that operates a portfolio of leading international restaurant brands in India, including PizzaExpress, Chili’s, P.F. Chang’s and Olive Garden. He took on the CEO role in 2026, bringing nearly two decades of experience across strategy, finance, operations and consumer businesses.
Prior to joining GIHG, Rohan served as Managing Director, Pizza Hut – Indian Subcontinent at Yum! Brands, where he led the brand’s operations, growth and expansion across the region. He had earlier held senior strategy and finance responsibilities with Pizza Hut India, contributing to business performance, new-channel development and growth initiatives.
In his current role, Rohan is focused on strengthening GIHG’s portfolio of global dining brands, accelerating expansion, enhancing guest experiences and building high-performing teams. Under his leadership, the group is targeting significant growth, with plans to expand from around 55 restaurants to 100–125 outlets over the next three years, including the rollout of Olive Garden across major Indian markets.
An alumnus of The Wharton School, Rohan combines strategic thinking with extensive operational experience in the restaurant and consumer sectors. His leadership focus spans brand building, customer experience, profitable growth, market expansion and the localisation of global dining concepts for Indian consumers.
