Saibal Chandra Banerjee is a seasoned retail and FMCG professional with over 26 years of experience spanning sales, distribution, merchandising, retail operations, category management and business leadership. He currently serves as Business Head – Trade Sales at CookieMan (Australian Foods India Private Limited), where he is focused on strengthening the brand’s trade presence and driving its transition from an experience-led retail business towards a broader FMCG growth opportunity.
Before joining CookieMan in 2026, Saibal served as Chief Executive Officer at MagSon Retail & Distribution Ltd, where he led the company’s business and growth initiatives. His earlier leadership experience includes senior roles at Spencer’s Retail, Foodhall (Future Retail), Wellness Forever Medicare, Watanmal Group, Dabur India, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, Balsara Home Products and Reckitt Benckiser.
With deep expertise in sales and distribution, merchandising and retail strategy, Saibal brings a strong understanding of both organised retail and FMCG execution. At CookieMan, his mandate comes at a pivotal stage as the brand expands its presence across modern trade, gourmet retail and other organised channels.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a postgraduate degree in Business Management with a specialisation in Marketing from the University of Calcutta.
