Saurabh Munjal is the Co-Founder and CEO of Archian Foods Pvt. Ltd., the company behind Lahori Zeera, one of India’s fastest-growing homegrown beverage brands. Founded in 2017 alongside his cousins Saurabh Bhutna and Nikhil Doda, Archian Foods was built around a simple idea: bringing traditional Indian flavours such as jeera, shikanji, nimboo and kacha aam to consumers in a contemporary, affordable and convenient format.
Munjal brings a strong entrepreneurial and financial background to the business. He holds a B.Com from Punjab University and an MBA from Singapore, and began his entrepreneurial journey in 2012 with a trade-finance venture while pursuing his MBA. After returning to India, he explored the hospitality sector before turning his attention to the FMCG and beverage opportunity.
The idea for Lahori Zeera emerged from a homemade jeera drink created by Nikhil Doda. Recognising a gap for organised, mass-market Indian ethnic beverages, the founders transformed the kitchen experiment into a scalable consumer brand. Munjal has been central to shaping the company’s strategy, financial planning, distribution and scale-up, helping take Lahori from a local beverage concept to a rapidly expanding national brand.
Under his leadership, Archian Foods has expanded its portfolio beyond Lahori Zeera and significantly increased manufacturing capacity. The company’s stated ambition is to build a leading Indian non-alcoholic beverage business by combining traditional Indian taste profiles, mass affordability, strong distribution and modern branding.
