P.B.Chinnappa has been associated with the food an beverage industry for the past 30 years. He started his career with the erstwhile Tata Tea Limited, on their plantation in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Subsequently he served with Cadbury India Limited, managing Cocoa procurement, processing and logistics and working closely with farmers in the Southern States of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. During his stint with Cadbury, a large acreage of non traditional areas were bought under cocoa cultivation, greatly improving the income levels of farmers and giving a supplementary income from cultivating cocoa. This also saved precious foreign exchange by reducing imports of Cocoa.
Chinnappa has been with Griffith Foods since 2007. Griffith Foods is a global product development partner, specializing in high-quality food ingredients, serving the leading Protein and Snack processors, QSR’s and Food Service Operators across the world.
At Griffith Foods, Chinnappa had managed various functions including sales, Supply Chain and Procurement.
