N Dairy Farm group, promoted by Mr. C. Gopalakrishnan, grandson of the founder (Nilgiris 1905) Shri. Muthuswamy Mudaliar. Nilgiris group were pioneers in self service supermarkets and organized Dairy business in India. C. Gopalakrishnan was instrumental in expansion of the Nilgiris Group, By setting up front end supermarkets and back end manufacturing of food and grocery products, pan south India. He was instrumental in Franchising Food and grocery business of nilgiris.

Franchising Supermarket was a new concept in1990’s emerging in India. Now he has set up his own company N Dairy farm private limited. He operates a state-of-the-art Mechanized Bakery and Staples processing Unit at Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The Group Manufactures and distributes bakery products in Southern cities and plans to expand Franchise supermarkets across South India, the online retailing in selected areas is in progress C. Gopalakrishnan is also the Managing Director of Yeti Refrigeration, Bangalore, which specializes in Refrigeration & Retail display systems “Service through dedication”, has been the motivating principle behind his businesses and he intends to continue that great tradition with innovative retailing concepts Being a philanthropist, He has invested his life savings in a village in Tamil Nadu by setting up his factories and giving employment to rural, less educated people.
